Mia and I returned to Chevy and this time met with the used car guy. The same nice guy who offered us between $2,000 – $2,400 a few months ago. Our guy looked the car over and went to get us an offer, when the guy from yesterday whispered something in his ear… |

We picked Mia's car up from Happy Engine and washed it at home. After the car was clean and pretty, we took it to the Chevy dealership to see if they would buy it for the same great offer they gave us a few months back. |

After enduring another Moochie Masterpiece, Mia calls AAA to get her car started. Mia's car hasn't been driven in a while which resulted in a dead battery. After the car is running, we're going to sell it. Once sold, we'll have just one car, so may my 13-year-old Pathfinder keep living! |

Jerry returned from his trip to the East Coast and surprised us with a rare treat! Mia made Jerry a “welcome home” cake. Jerry will have to understand it's the thought that counts! Meanwhile, Moochie treated us with a surprise of her own. |

We finished updating Mia's old bedroom and posted an ad for a tenant. |

To save money, Mia moved into my bedroom and we're trying to rent out her bedroom (with private bathroom) to a tenant. Bright yellow was frightening potential renters so we painted the room a very light blue. It looks nice now. So, who wants to live with us? Move in immediately! Hurry up! :) |

Mia and I go to Target for more cat supplies but get sidetracked by toys and costumes. Oh, and new Dunkin' Donuts coffee! For East Coast people; would you believe there isn't a single DD in all of California?!? Tragic isn't it? :-o |

Mia dragged me back to the Halloween Store and made me return that cute little fogger I bought while on lunch break during Jury Duty. We had fun playing around in the store. Back home, Mia refused to clean up the mess I made specifically for her to clean up, which resulted in a spanking. |

Mia and I had breakfast with Jerry at Denny's and then dropped him at the Flyaway Bus in the valley. Jerry's going to New York for a little while to do some good Jerry things. Goodbye Jerry! |

Mia, Jerry and I wish Julie a happy birthday. We were going to call Julie on her exact solar birthday (4:30am East Coast time) but Jerry couldn't stay up that late because of work. Sorry Julie! ;) |

Today was my Jury Duty reporting day. I was fairly confident I would not be chosen since I actually need their $15 a day! :-/ |

I got a Jury Duty Summons! Sadly, I could really use their wonderful $15 a day. That probably guarantees I WON'T be chosen though. You know how things seem to work that way… Maybe that's a win win? Either I get paid or don't have to go? |
