Following lunch at Hooters, Mia and I went to IKEA to buy another DVD shelf with Mia's Verizon gift cards. We knew one of two things would happen; IKEA wouldn't have the shelves, or the cards wouldn't work. The cards didn't work. We ended up having to pay ourselves.
Driving home, you have to merge immediately from one highway to another, which is very hard to do when other drivers deliberately speed up so you can't merge. We missed our exit and ended up at Pizza Hut. Who could say no to a rare Pizza Hut restaurant? Not us! We did a very good job of saving money today! (Is it too ’90s to say “NOT!”?)
